General Information

The 26th Annual Meeting of the Japan Society of Theoretical Chemistry (JSTC) will be held at the University of Tsukuba from May 21 to 23, 2024. Oral presentations, poster sessions, special symposiums, and a banquet are scheduled in person. Please join us for interesting and lively discussions.
Young researchers and graduate students are encouraged to participate, and awards will be presented. This year, the number of poster award winners will be increased.
We look forward to your participation.

Theme Theoretical chemistry, computational chemistry, and related experimental research

Apply for a Presentation

 You can submit your presentation for this meeting. The types of presentations include oral and poster, and all presentations will be held in person (on-site). Final decisions on presentations are made by the executive committee. Your understanding and cooperation are highly appreciated.

Oral presentation 20 minutes(15-min. talk, 4-min. discussion, 1-min. exchange)
Poster presentation 90 minutes discussion (+ 1 day display)

 The above presentation times are tentative at the current early stage. The final timetable will be announced after the registration application is closed. Oral presenters are requested to bring their own laptop computers. Please check the computer connection before the start of your session. In case of any problems, please bring your presentation file in a USB memory or upload it to the cloud drive. Please also note the following.

Awards

 Japan Society of Theoretical Chemistry (JSTC) presents the best presentation award and the best poster awards to young JSTC members who give excellent oral or poster presentations at the annual meeting.

Application Requirements

Oral Presentation
Award:
  • At the time of application, the registration for a member of JSTC in the 2024 fiscal year
    must be completed.*
  • At the time of the presentation, the presenter must be 35 years old or younger.
  • At the annual meeting, the presenter must be the oral presenter and the first author
    of the abstract.
Poster Award
  • At the time of application,the registration for a member of JSTC in the 2024 fiscal year
    must be completed.*
  • At the time of the presentation, the presenter must be a student.
  • At the annual meeting, the presenter must be the poster presenter and the first author
    of the abstract.
