Numerical Astrophysics / Galaxies / Galaxy Clusters / Large-Scale Structure

Overview

My research is on theoretical aspects of observational cosmology including formation and evolution of galaxies, galaxy clusters, and large-scale structure of the universe based on the state-of-art numerical simulations. Current reseach theme includes physical properties and detectability of the missing baryons (aka dark baryons) in the present day universe, kinematics and thermodynamics of the intracluster medium, and the effects of the massive neutrinos on the formation of the large-scale structure in the universe. I'm also interested in and working on the technical aspects of the high performance computing useful for the numerical astrophysics.
