[Simple Text version of Call for Posters]

The International Workshop on OpenMP is an annual series of workshops dedicated to the promotion and advancement of all aspects focusing on parallel programming with OpenMP. The workshop serves as a forum to present the latest research ideas and results related to this shared memory programming model. The 2010 International Workshop on OpenMP (IWOMP 2010) will be held in the high-tech city of Tsukuba, Japan.

The poster sessions at previous IWOMPs were extremely useful and contributed to the character of a workshop that supports the exchange of ideas and the presentation of work in progress. As in previous years, IWOMP 2010 solicits submissions of posters to present the latest contributions. Poster indexing session will be held for the short presentation in addition to the poster session.

Poster Submission

We solicit submissions of extended abstracts for poster detailing work related to OpenMP. Submitted abstract for review should be limited to 2 pages. Relevant deadlines are provided under "Important Dates" in this Call for Posters.

Format, Publication, and Presentation

Consideration for a IWOMP 2010 Poster will be based on the submission of an extended abstract (maximum 2 pages). The submissions should be formatted with single-spaced, double-column pages using at least 10 pt (or higher) size fonts on A4 or letter pages. Although accepted posters will not be included in the IWOMP 2010 proceedings, the author will have a chance of short presentation on the poster in poster indexing session.
